The Raindrop
I fell from the sky at an alarming rate. I saw other raindrops hit the ground and then dry away. So before I hit the ground I knew I needed a plan. That’s when I noticed a pond just on the other side of the road. If I could land there I would survive. I angled myself at the pond but a truck drove by and I was hit by it. I was still alive but I could die faster on a vehicle rather than the ground, so if I didn’t get off soon I would die within seconds. The wind was strong that day, allowing me to blow off and land on the road, halfway from the pond. By this time I was literally half the raindrop I used to be. I began to give up as I seen my friends and family dry away. It was horrible but just before I dried away the wind picked up and threw me an inch from the pond. I was saved by the wind, all I had to do from there was travel an inch, which I did. I have lived in this pond for almost a year now, able to survive being picked up by clouds again and relive all those horrible experiences of falling from the sky.

Speck
"Can you imagine having six inch long and thin spikes, sharper than razors, as strong as diamond, and as light as a twig of the same size, pierce through your bones, your muscles, your tissue, your skin, and finally have it come all the way through? Now can you imagine that very same thing through an eye? Through your neck? Through any and every millimeter of your body at once? Imagine having them stuck halfway. Imagine these spikes constantly shooting out of you over and over, never slowing, never any less painful. You're lucky. You can only imagine it. Me? I live it every second of my life."
Drazil
"Have you ever had the entire world against you? Have you ever had people hate you the second they learn your name? Have you ever had people try to kill you simply for being alive? Of course not. But for me that's how it's always been. It gave me an incredible power to see who people really are. To know who is good, who is evil, and who is only scared. Now guess what? Even in my world of darkness I saw lights in the form of people. People that cared, loved and saw me. Not my past, not my darkness, but me and my light."
Dear Voice,
My Shadow
Whoever you are. Whatever you are. I ask that you do me a single favor. I beg of you, in fact, to stop speaking the same lies. The lies that I'm not good enough, the lies that I'm worthless, and the lies that I am a failure. You may live inside of me, but the lies must stop. I can't get rid of you, but you need me to live and your lies are deadly. The lies must stop because it also holds us back. Your lies keep us from our full potential. We are part of the same coin and each side affects the other. Your lies affect me and my positivity can affect you. You can argue that you're too strong, but we'll see who is stronger when I begin to fight back.
It started with strange voices I would hear whispered in my ear. It got worse until they were screams. Literal screams as though the voice belonged to frightened children Sleepless night after sleepless night and eventually the voices and screams stopped. When they did I was relieved until I saw my shadow move on it's own. Of course I was tired; maybe it was my imagination? I was wrong and was proven that fact after sleeping for a few days.
My shadow and the shadows of everything around me moved and seemed to move towards me. 'What can a shadow do?' I thought, to keep myself sane. Oh shadows can do a lot I later learned when I realized I didn't have one anymore. Once I noticed, all the shadows darted towards me and surrounded me in a large circle.
"It's just shadows," I kept saying.
The shadows broke formation and became my shadow, but it was different. The shadow looked like a carcass. I covered my face, now fully afraid of the shadows. It moved closer to my face and I felt compelled to peek. The shadow smiled and unexpectedly spoke, "You have been chosen to become MY shadow."
Omnipotent
In a time where heroes are needed desperately, the Omnipotent Corporation took it upon themselves to create them. They invented digital powers that could be called on from Power Cards. These cards generated artificial powers made by manipulating light and making it solid. At first it worked. People could purchase these cards and use powers so long as they got an implant to go along with them.
However, once the cards became global, villains rose up to take over the world. These villains outnumbered the heroes drastically so the only hope they had left was to ban the cards and stop production. The small amount of heroes continued to fight the villains, but their numbers began getting smaller and smaller.
It wasn't until the hero known as Omni came forward with reversed engineered Power Cards that the heroes finally had a chance. Omni offered the cards to people who they believed would use them for the greater good. Using their own power cards they were able to travel the world and evened the playing field against the villains. Today, the fight continues. Heroes and villains now seemed destined to remain in an eternal struggle of good vs evil.

A warrior who tamed dragons one day found himself walking down a dark path. He was not afraid, for he had walked this path many times. But today something was not right. He sensed the darkness had grown since his last walk. He was still not afraid. Instead he felt welcome. The warrior left the darkness alone and walked through the path. However, that darkness did not stay on the path. It stuck part of itself onto the warrior and followed him. He brought that darkness to the tower and it hid there.
One day the warrior again found himself on the dark path and again, he was not afraid. He felt more welcome in the darkness. He crossed the path and another part of the darkness stayed with him. The darkness was brought to the tower and became stronger. It was now clear the tower had a dark force within it.
One day the warrior found himself on the dark path again. This time it spoke to him and became his friend. He crossed the path, bringing the rest of the darkness to the tower. A question was asked and the tower was saved. The darkness left, afraid to answer the question. However, since this darkness consumed the warrior, he left with it. He now hides in the darkness searching for an answer...
The Trees Of Love & hatred
There once were two trees that loved each other, but as they grew, they grew apart in separate directions. The trees longed for each other and finally, after their entire lives growing apart, they collapsed and two acorns fell from their branches and planted themselves in their place.
The following spring, two trees began to grow against each other. The two trees despised each other and tore each other's branches apart. Hatred and anger consumed these two for their entire life. At the end, they eventually collapsed and each dropped an acorn from their branch. The acorns planted themselves, but they would grow into trees that spend their life growing apart. Yet, these two trees would long for each other their entire lives.

The Last Living Thing
I looked up at the moon while laying on my favorite grassy hill and suddenly the question came to my mind once again. 'Why did I do what I did in the past? What events made today, today? Why am I me? Why is the past the way it is?'
I guess that's more than one question, but why? I looked back down to earth and petted the ground.
"Soon this will be the past, but if I was not here, would this not be the past?" I asked quietly.
There was no one to hear. There hasn't been for a millennium. I tore the grass from the ground and watched it evaporate into nothingness.
The hill, my favorite hill, is the last living thing for me to be with. Yet soon it will be dead too, and it will become the past too. What does that do for my future? The way I see it, is it only serves as a good story, but to whom will I ever tell it to?
Myself I suppose, unless, there is more to my future than I thought. I stood up and the grass evaporated around me - leaving me as the only living thing left for the future to make the past.
